We house-sat for our friends the Schaefers over Christmas and had the Story side of the family over to open gifts on Christmas day. Sydney loved Grace's nativity scene, but seemed intent on reminding us all that Jesus is the reason for the season. She did this by throwing all the other (thankfully plastic) figurines through the railings onto the basement staircase. Then Daddy would retrieve Mary and Joseph and the shepherds and sheep and cow, etc. and put them back in the stable and Sydney would promptly remove them and toss them through the railing again. She would touch the baby Jesus, but he never went flying. Funny, huh?
We loved seeing Uncle Kelly, Aunt Tara, John, Grandma & Grandpa Story and Gigi and Great Grandpa. Merry Christmas everyone!
