Some more updated house pics, esp. for Gigi

Grandma said last night when I talked to her that she was checking the blog tonight, so I wanted to make sure to get these newest updates on. They should be done with all the flooring now, but I haven't been to the house since 8:30 this morning, so these will have to suffice. They're from last night.

First, the new front door ( we will worry about the outside of the house after we move in, so don't mind that it desperately needs some paint and something done to the porch floor:

The living room... obviously the carpet is just laid out and not trimmed and finished.

Sydney's room (color looks off here) and off to the right is the linen closet...

From the kitchen, looking into the dining area. Through those double doors is the enclosed patio, aka the playroom. In the fore ground is a low island, which is chair height. Good for the girls to sit at eventually, and extra space if I'm, ya know... baking or something, which never happens.

The new sink and faucet/sprayer/soap dispenser...

Here you can see how the cabinets, countertops and floors all tie together nicely, in my opinion anyway...

And here's the other side of the kitchen...

The fridge will be to the far right. We think we will have to have the guys come back and raise the microwave/venthood because we're assuming it will be too close to the stove. The tall cabinets to the far left are a pantry with some built ins.

This concludes our tour! Appliances tomorrow, then a plumber to do some work and we'll be done for the moment. We plan to start taking stuff over this weekend. How fun, right? I am rolling my eyes right now.

Love to you all! C, J, S & B
