Wings of Warriors Air Show

I am seriously remiss in not reporting on this earlier, but Cory recently finished up a big project. He was in charge of the Air Show here earlier this month. It went so well and we were so proud of all his hard work. The weather even cooperated. It was just a tad chilly, but better than the 105 degree temp they had 2 years ago for the air show. Here are some pics from that day...

We were shocked to run into Daddy and actually get to see him for a bit on the day of the airshow. Here's Brenna waiting for the flying portion of the show to start

The KC-135 Stratotanker (this is what Cory flies.) Our friend Ed was actually flying this one.

Here's a little video of the Tanker and the C-17 (which are the 2 planes stationed here) flying in formation together.

And here are the girls as we walked back to our car that afternoon. It was a great day. All days that end with ice cream are great, but this one was especially good. Way to go, Cory!!

Well, we hope that sometime you'll come down and enjoy some of the air shows that they put on here in TX. Of course, I'm sure they won't be as great as the one that Cory did!!!
