Sydney was thrilled with the little notecards and pens she found and said she had to "do my homework!"

Brenna eventually crashed.

They were intrigued by the views out the window. Here you can see our hotel reflected in the more modern building across the street:

Then Daddy met us at the hotel and we all went out. Here's the hotel from the outside.

We walked to Bricktown, stopping to see the sights. Like the painted buffalo...

And the flowers that looked like butterflies...

We had dinner at the Spaghetti Warehouse, then went for a ride on the Bricktown Canal tour...
Sonic's headquarters...

Cool statues

And ducks

And daddy time!

The waterfall was a big hit

And so was the Marble Slab Ice Cream

But the most fun memory was taking a horse-drawn carriage ride from Bricktown back to our hotel, with a short detour around downtown, for sightseeing purposes. Sydney was over the moon.

And then it was back to the hotel... nothing like arriving at your hotel on horseback.

The valets said they did not park horses.
What fun memories! The girls slept wonderfully in their own double beds. We had an adjoining room, so it worked out great. And we hope it is just the start of fun weekend trips whenever we get a chance. Can you tell we're so glad to be out of the baby stage?

Thanks for the new pics. Always good to see what you all are doing. Mom
Looks like you guys had a great time in OKC! My favorite picture is the reflection of your hotel on the other building. You should send that one into a photo contest--it's so neat!
