Squadron Children's Christmas Party

The 54th & 55th had a combined children's Christmas party on Saturday. It was very well executed... just perfect for our girls and for all who attended. So Deb, if you are reading this, pat yourself on the back. You and Melissa did a great job.

We started out decorating Christmas cookies with Ms. Deb

Followed immediately by eating them (or at least the chocolate frosting)

Then Brenna, who never wants to do anything, decided to get her face painted. Ms. Melissa (55th Squadron Commander's wife) did the honors.

Then we watched a Mickey Mouse Christmas movie on the big screen...

And we saw lots of friends, including sweet baby Matthew

Then Santa arrived and brought books for all the kids!

Matthew was not all that thrilled to meet Santa

Which needed to be read at once!

(Daddy wore his flight suit because he helped with a static display that morning, for kids in a local boys home.)

It was a very nice day!

Cute! I loved the way Brenna stood right in front of the screen! We were down with another bug but are doing well today. Just about to take a nap then we'll call this afternoon.
p.s. I seriously think I'm going to need to be inducted into the 1/3rd hall of fame! You should see the stuff I've gotten rid of :)

Good to see you in some of your pics! :) Your hair looks really cute right now too btw. Glad to see you guys had a great holiday season, but we did miss you this year! Hopefully we can catch you guys for lunch again on our way (or way back) in February.
