Cat for Sale

Poor Jenna. Our first "baby" who used to be so spoiled, has now been relegated to last on the list at all times. I find myself very irritated at her just for being a cat. Like when I walk into our bedroom for the 14th time dropping off piles of folded laundry and see that she is STILL in the same position that she's been in all morning. Jealousy does not become me.

I can't really blame her for hanging out in the bedroom. Syd and Brenna are infatuated with her, but are not so good at showing their love in appropriate ways (re: screeching, chasing, throwing things at her, sneaking up on her and grabbing handfuls of her fur.) It's amazing the cat ever shows her face. But occasionally, she does.

The downside to all this day-napping is that come 7:30 when the last little redhead is shuttled off to bed, Jenna is wide awake and ready to play. She wants to go out in the playroom, come back in, go back out in the playroom, come back in, check out what's going on in the garage. Meow VERY loudly or "scratch" (no front claws) at any closed door. Getting the picture?

And the kicker is that after all this running around and irritating behavior, she settles down for a few hours, and then at 5 (within 20 minutes of 5 a.m. every.dang.day) she resumes her going out and coming back in behavior until the girls get up.

So yes, one cat for sale. Approximately 17 lbs. Very pretty. Loud. Early Riser. Full name: Jenna Sophia Anna Kournikova P.
