OKC zoo

We were supposed to go to Wichita over Labor Day, but last week sucked. Everyone was sick at some point. Cory found out he was leaving on a trip Tuesday morning and we just decided to postpone. We were sad to stay home and do nothing though, so we loaded up for a day trip Saturday to OKC. We had lunch at Jason's Deli and went to the zoo. It was really hot. We should have left earlier, but we're glad we went. Here are some highlights.

Sydney's favorite thing was the carousel. It was her first time on one and she really got into it.


So much so, that we had to go back later and ride it again. She walked around the entire carousel looking for the perfect animal...


And chose the warthog?!! I have no idea what that was about.


Brenna did not care for the carousel animals, but she did enjoy the bench seat, with Daddy right next to her.


We were there about 3 1/2 hours and then we were DONE. Little mini meltdown.



So we packed up, hit the McDonalds in Chickashaw for dinner and headed home. Fun was had by all. The we had a quiet rest of the weekend. We'll see all you Wichitans soon!
