Christmas Morning

We have travelled for the last several years over the holidays, which as you know can sometimes be a nightmare. This year we decided to stay put in good ole' Altus America and let any interested parties come see us. Grandma Lou and Crampa, along with Uncle Jeff made the trek from Minnesota and Grandma and Grandpa Story came from Wichita. Poor Uncle Kelly messed up his back shoveling snow just before he and Auntie Tara were supposed to leave, so they missed the festivities. We were so glad to have everybody visit. It was a nice, laid-back Oklahoma Christmas.

First things first, Sydney found the pinwheel that Gigi sent. I think it was seriously her favorite thing all day.

Then Grandmas and Grandpas started to arrive from the Best Western and the real fun began

Pat Pat Rocket from the Little Einsteins was a hit.

Grandma Story helped with all those friggin' twist ties (how CRAZY do those things make you? Am I the only one?)

Brenna woke up finally and joined the party. It was her first Christmas!
She loved everything she got, especially her babies!

There were plenty of presents to go around.
Here's Brenna showing off her walking skills with her new walker from Grandma Lou and Crampa

And Sydney played horsies (complete with a very shrill "NEIGH!" with Crampa.
